After a few weeks in self-isolation, changing socks and slippers for your favorite loafers will be the best gift. And since the off-season with its platform boots and high boots we sat at home, it’s time to discuss shoe trends for summer 2020.
LEATHER FLIP-FLOPS
The only street shoe that stays with us during the period of self-isolation – leather flip-flops – will serve us all the coming summer. If last year we bet on models with heels, this year we will be interested in their classic flat-soled version.
BALLETS
We can call ballet flats the main kambek of the season. In the coming summer, flat-soled loafers will be everywhere – and in the Instagrams of favorite bloggers, and in our shoe closet, and on the shelf of mom. Soft leather models with square or tapered toes are on trend – leave the round toe to Mary Jane shoes.

It seems that in the new season chains will adorn not only the neck, but also the ankles. No, we are not talking about anklets, but about shoes and sandals decorated with gold and silver chains. Rough at first glance, they perfectly combine with feminine dresses in a shy flower, and with wide jeans, adding to the outfit aristocratic.
MARY JANE SHOES
Among the fashionable shoes of the spring-summer season included shoes “mary jane”. They owe their name to the heroine of the British comic strip Buster Brown – the girl Mary Jane, who adored shoes with a rounded nose and a strap on the instep. If this summer’s flip-flops have lost their heels, mules, on the contrary, have gained them.
